I believe in developing a good teaching relationship with all my students, and exhibit qualities of being patient, caring, and well-versed in the subject they are teaching. I also have been told by students that the way I explain something makes sense, even when someone else has told the student the same thing.I have been a substitute teacher, where I taught Science at the high school level. There, I was able to try out different techniques, and find out which ones worked best for my students who were having trouble with the subject we were studying. I offer tutoring in AP Biology, Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Science, General Biology, General Chemistry, Life Sciences, Physics, and Science. I also offer students help in SAT test prep. I graduated from the State University of New York at Stony Brook, where I earned dual bachelor's degrees in Biochemistry and English. I attended graduate school at Georgetown University, where I earned my master's in Physiology.In my spare time, I enjoy doing fun activities such as surfing, playing soccer, and skateboarding. I also like to read.
