I graduated as salutatorian from my high school. Prior to graduating high school, I was selected as a National Merit Commended Scholar and a recipient of the Toyota Community Scholars Scholarship and a semifinalist in the Coca-Cola Scholarship competition. I graduated from The University of Pennsylvania with summa cum laude distinction where I received my Bachelor of Arts Degree in the Biological Basis of Behavior (a combination of Biology, Psychology, and Neuroscience) with a minor in Psychology. I earned a Master's in Science degree from Rutgers University (formerly The University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey -School of Biomedical Sciences). I am currently a College Professor in the Sciences in New York State.
Experience
I am an Ivy League Educated College Professor and Academic and Test Prep Tutor for over a decade. I have a lot of experience and success helping students of all ages and ability levels in both academic subjects and test preparation. I tutor students from Elementary School through Graduate School in numerous academic subjects. Please see my complete list for all subjects that I cover. A basic list of the academic subjects I tutor include: The Sciences (Biology & Chemistry) at all levels, Mathematics (PreAlgebra, AlgebraI/II, Geometry), English (Reading, Writing, Grammar, Spelling), as well as specialty academic subjects including Anatomy & Physiology and Biochemistry. I tutor students of all ages and ability levels in all academic subjects and test preparation including students in Elementary School, Middle School & Junior High, High School, as well as College and Adult Learners. I have a lot of experience teaching students in test preparation as well. The test preparation subjects that I teach include the ISEE/SSAT, PSAT, SAT, ACT, GED, AP Exams, NYS Regents exams, general study skills and test prep, as well as standardized tests.
